Thank you to all who attended our Nicky's memorial. It was a fantastic ceremony. Thank you to Pastor
Kobus for doing the service.
Approximately 300 people turned up on a humid South African Spring morning to pay their last
respects, and there was hardly a dry eye in the place.
Nicky, you will never be forgotten. We love you more than we ever showed you. Keep smiling down upon
us!

To a Wonderful Daughter, Girlfriend, Friend, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Niece, thank you for the
absolutely wonderful times, they will be greatly cherished in our hearts, you were a Diamond, and a
cut above the rest, an Angel with the most beautiful wings, with a pleasant nature and Beautiful
Smile. Your Compassion, Love, Friendliness was a cut above the rest. Your Pleasant personality was
an inspiration to all who knew you and to all her friends all over the world, although she never saw
you on each flight, she always thought of you and always had a good word to say. Her life as a
little girl, she always thought she was a butterfly and said "ONE DAY IM GOING TO FLY" and she did,
literally and figuratively, she lived her dream to the fullest, and inspired many. She will be sadly
MISSED, by all including Aletta for whom she always made lunch or breakfast on a wednesday. Aletta
is devistated. Funeral arrangements will be made on Monday, and will be held at the Maranatha Church
in Kempton Park, date and time to be advised. We will always LOVE YOU, MAY YOU REST IN PEACE, AND
MAY THE ANGELS BE AROUND YOU ALWAYS. WITH ALL OUR LOVE MOM, DAD, JACKIE, FREDDY (THE LOVED MAN IN
YOUR LIFE, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU AND WILL NEVER FORGET THE TIME WE HAD TOGETHER, IT IS WAS
PHENOMINAL AND UNFORGETTABLE, YOU GAVE ME SO MUCH, AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART,

What a blessing it was to get to know you, met you briefly as a babe, then again just a year ago you arrived in Perth as an air hostess and we were able to get acquanted. We had a lovely time at the zoo, looking at all the animals, eating yummy food and then taking you to our home to share a meal with the whole family.
We have caught up again since then twice the last time being just last month and we almost did not make that meeting, however we did and what a day we had, you dear Nicky, myself Bunny, my sister Celia and my niece Gillian.
Shopping, fun and laughter. Hard to believe that you are gone from this world, however we will meet again, what a blessing it is to be a child of God and trust in the Lord Jesus as Saviour. All my love Bunny

Nicky... U will be sorely missed around Kempton Park. Cant believe that I am not got to see that smiling face at Pick n Pay and Video Comp and stand talking for hours. U were taken way to soon, but my friend, U are now an angel with God. He needed u. RIP and u smile will always be in our hearts...

Hi, I did not know you, but heard a lot about you from Vivian (Freddies mom) your life was cut short, however you touched many people with your smile and love, it is always sad for the ones left behind, but we need to hold onto the promise that if we believe in God that we will meet again and never part again, Freddy be strong, you were loved and gave love, you were blessed by knowing Nicola remember there are many people who care for you and the sadness that you are going through now. REMEMBER JESUS LOVES YOU AND HAS A PLAN FOR ALL OF US!!!

Good men perish and the Godly die young and no one seems to care or ask why. Don't they know that God is taking them away from the perilious times and trials that lie ahead.
Nicky you were a like a ray of sunshine that lit up a room and made the world a better place. Your smile was so beautiful.
This life on earth seems so long and it will be even longer now that you are gone but if we can just imagine and believe how much longer eternity will be and we will see you again forever and forever. That is our hope and our faith in God that lessens the blow.
As my good friend Dianne told me the other day. "When the sun sets it's one day nearer to seeing you again" and that is our hope Nicky that we will see you again.
May God give you strength Lucette and Jackie and Manie and Freddy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sweet Nicola,
There are no words deep enough or profound enough to describe this endless sadness that engulfs us all. Yet through the shock and pain, the tears and grief I see you smiling from the other side.
As the sun set on friday, a sudden glorious burst through tear drenched clouds, I saw you there, an angel beautiful and so radiant. You turned before you left and smiled the way you always did - with all your heart. Enough to say you are safe and and at peace. You walked away then into your heavenly Father's arms, there to be held and loved. You left the rest of us behind... yet you are still with your family. Your love and memory will never leave...your light will endure forever.
Sweet Nicky, it is impossible to believe you have left us all...too soon, too young...God holds you now. I know how many people loved you and how many people you loved and cherished...we will all miss you so dearly.
I send my deepest sympathies to your parents and sister, your family and friends...there just are no words. I love you girl. I will miss you forever.

Inspiration, Confidence, Positive & energetic attitude, are just some of the things described of what Nikki portrayed every time she put her feet on the dance floor. And she lived her life without a doubt, the same way too.
With an unforgettable smile that travelled the world, one can only thank the lord for giving us the pleasure of having a Nikki as a friend, even though for such a short time.
It makes it harder to know that Nikki would have had the Privilege of obtaining her Certificate in Prelim Bronze dancing exam this, not many people are that brave to take on such a challenge. That is how dedicated she was, and I am proud to say that she was one of my most unique, gifted & disciplined students to date, to walk through the doors.
Every moment passing, whether it is today or tomorrow, let Nikki remind us, of how passionate & dedicated one person can be. This tragedy has stopped time for us, and in this time onwards she will be remembered dearly.
